The Hare and The Tortoise - Page 2

(Text translated by George Fyler Townsend)

On the day appointed for the race the two started together. The Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course.

The Hare and The Tortoise - Page 1

(Text translated by George Fyler Townsend)

A Hare one day ridiculed the short feet and slow pace of the Tortoise, who replied, laughing: "Though you be swift as the wind, I will beat you in a race." The Hare, believing her assertion to be simply impossible, assented to the proposal; and they agreed that the Fox should choose the course and fix the goal.

The Hare and The Tortoise

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Those who know me know that I love folklore tales and so I took the challenge of trying to illustrate one of Aesop fable's most classic stories The Hare and The Tortoise.
Everyday this week I'll reveal one of the pages. It's a short story only consisting of 4 images.

I'll post the first page tomorrow.

Agency and Digital Artist mag

Hi guys,

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Have lots of new pieces to put up but have been very poorly and it was also Diwali a few weeks ago.

Anyway I have some exciting news to share.

I have an art agent :) The lovely people at Phosphor Art are kindly representing me. Take a look at their website here:

Also a while back I took part in a collaboration about 26 animals that are facing extinction. Well it has been featured in the recent issue of Digital Artist Magazine and my illustration is in it. You can take a look at it here. My illustration is also attached.

Will be back soon with all the new work I have been working on.

Poonam
